In various countries, it is not uncommon to see or hear people complain about their leaders and their styles of leadership due to the hardships they may experience from time to time. We may likely discover that the leaders of our generation are even way better than some rulers who were in power in many times past.
Here is a list of four leaders that were wicked during their lifetime:
1. Adolf Hitler:
This German politician was the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party and was renowned for starting World War II.
After the World War II, a lot of people lost their lives, families and properties. Adolf Hitler in April 1945 committed suicide by shooting himself while also biting into a cyanide capsule.
2. Pol Pot:
Pol Pot was the prime minister of Cambodia from 1976 to 1979 and was known for his radical government that led to the evacuation of many, the killing and the displacement of other individuals from their homes.
During his government, at least one million people died from forced labour, starvation, torture or execution.
3. Idi Amin Dada:
Idi Amin Dada was a millitary dictator and president of Uganda. He ruled from 1971 to 1979 and was well known for abuse of citizen’s human rights, persecution of people due to their ethnicity, extra judicial killings, expulsion of indians from Uganda and political repression.
On July 2003, he died at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as a result of kidney failure.
4. Josef Stalin:
Josef Stalin was the premier of the Soviet Union from the 6th of May 1941 until he died on the 5th of March 1953. He was known for giving orders to either kill peasants, or intentionally starve them to death.
During his lifetime, he killed more than twenty million of his own citizens.
